The evil day may be upon us, but I am not a pessimist.
Nothing is ever wasted. Everything “fits” somewhere.
If you know who you are, you can serve Christ anywhere.
Through your tears, lift up your eyes and look again to Bethlehem. That sleeping child will rise to battle and no one will stand against him.
Be of good cheer! Do not fear your enemies and do not fear what they can do to you. Remember the story of Daniel and pray for the same kind of utterly predictable faith.
No one knows what a day may bring. Who knows if we will all make it through this week? But our God is faithful to keep every one of his promises.
Coming to Christ is not difficult. The hardest part is reaching out with the hand of faith.
The great question is not, “How can I get my prayers answered?” The great question is, “What will it take to draw me closer to God?”
We do not gain if we turn away from God in the time of trouble. If we turn away from God, we lose our only ground of hope.
God is fully satisfied with the work of his Son. Those who come to him find that their sins are forgiven forever.
