You don’t get to choose your neighbors. God sends the ones he knows we need. Some will be difficult and grumpy. Love them anyway.
“Love . . . does not keep a record of wrongs” (1 Cor 13:5). Try to remember this. You’ll probably need it before the end of the day.

Keep me true to You, Lord Jesus, lest I should begin to drift away. May I never take you for granted, not even for a moment. Amen.
Only unworthy people go to heaven. The people who think they are “worthy” end up in hell.
We don’t have to choose between grace and truth. Since Jesus was full of grace and truth (John 1:14), and if he is in us & we are in him, then we should be full of grace and truth too.
